NDA Exam Question Papers: not a hard nut to crack

The National Defense Academy exam is for those who have a passion to safeguard their country and want to make their career in the defense sector. The candidates have to go through the written test and personal interview for being selected as a national defense officer.

The Indian armed forces are one of the largest forces all over the world offering a healthy work environment for the youth. People who have a patriotic passion to serve their country go for defense services. This can be done through two exams ' the National Defense Academy Exam and the Combined Defense Services Exam. Candidates who are pursuing or have completed their 10+2 can appear for NDA exams, while the CDS exams are for those who are going to complete their graduation or have completed the same. The candidates can also compete and score higher in these exams with the help of previous NDA exam question papers.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the NDA exam every year in the months April and September. This exam is being held for admission to the Indian armed forces. Later, the Services Selection Board calls the students who clear the written examination for an Intelligence and Personality Test.

Eligibility

Nationality

The candidate must either be:

i) a subject of Nepal

ii) a subject of Bhutan

iii) a citizen of India

iv) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

v) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India

The candidates who fall under the categories of i, ii, iv and v will have to obtain a certificate of eligibility issued by the government of India.

Age limit, sex and martial status

The male candidates who are unmarried and are not born not earlier or later than the specified date are eligible for this examination. Whatever the date of birth is mentioned in the matriculation certificate is accepted by the commission. The candidates can not get married until they complete their full training.

Educational qualification

For Army wing of the National Defence Academy

The candidates should be 10+2 or its equivalent from a university or a state education board.

For Air force and Naval wings of the National Defence Academy

The candidates should be 10 +2 or its equivalent with mathematics and physics conducted by a university or a state education board. The Candidates pursuing their 10 + 2 or its equivalent can also apply.
